Chicago Public Schools Cook County States Attorneys Office Launch Pilot to Avoid Pretrial Detention

The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and the school district will coordinate the effort to keep teens charged with serious crimes in school and provide 20 hours of therapy, mentoring, tutoring, and other support each week.
